Deck Cleaner

Deck Cleaner

Deck Cleaner

While your TimberTech deck is designed to battle the elements, spills still happen—and dust, debris, and pollen can build up on the surface with regular foot (and pet!) traffic. Our effective and product-safe* formula is non-toxic, bleach-free, and makes cleaning a breeze for small spots or entire deck surfaces. *For use with TimberTech Advanced Polymer and Composite Decking, Porch, and Railing (Do not use on TimberTech ReliaBoard, DockSider, or uncapped composite decking).

Which products can I clean with TimberTech DeckCleaner?
TimberTech DeckCleaner can be used with all TimberTech Advanced Polymer Deck & Porch Collections, TimberTech Composite Collections, AZEK Trim & Moulding, Capped Composite Rail, Aluminum Rail, DrySpace, and Pavers. It is not recommended for uncapped composite deck products, such as Reliaboard.

Does TimberTech Deck Cleaner contain bleach?
No, it is a safe, non-toxic, bleach-free, and biodegradable formula.

Any tips for cleaning a deck?

  1. SCRUB: Work in small areas. Saturate surface with cleaner for 30-60 seconds prior to scrubbing. Scrub with the grain and across the grain.
  2. RINSE: Thoroughly rinse off the DeckCleaner immediately after scrubbing. Do not let DeckCleaner dry onto the surface as it may leave a white residue that must be cleaned again.
  3. DRY: For best results, and to minimize water spots, dry the surface with a sponge mop, air blower, or towel.

What type of brush should I use?
For TimberTech Advanced PolymerDeck, Porch, and Paver products, use a stiff, natural fiber brush.
For TimberTech Composite Decking, use a medium to stiff nylon brush.
For TimberTech Composite Railing and AZEK Trim & Moulding, use a non-abrasive cloth.

Does the cleaner need to be diluted?
For general cleaning, mix 1 part cleaner to 3 parts
water (shake the concentrate well before mixing). Note: One gallon of DeckCleaner concentrate makes 4 gallons of cleaner.
